Where: Cornucopia, 19-20 Wicklow Street, Dublin, Ireland
When: 31st October 2017
I had gone looking for a place to have a warm drink, some cake and somewhere to read my book. I found a great place in Cornucopia in the centre of Dublin. I had initially passed Cornucopia earlier in the day and the queue was almost out the door, I treated this as a good sign!
Cornucopia is a wholefood and vegetarian restaurant in the centre of Dublin, and has been established since 1986 and started as a wholefood shop and has evolved since then. It’s beautiful interior reflects its post Georgian history with beautiful William Morris-esque wallpaper around a fire on the 1st floor seating area. This attention to detail makes Cornucopia an all round enjoyable and cosy experience.
I enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate with almond milk and a pumpkin slice, and stayed on for a matcha latte, indulging in the comfort of the frothy warm green drink.
