Meeting a friend for lunch in Hexham in Northumbria, we didn’t realise most places would be closed on a Sunday, fortunately we came across this sweet Italian place serving fresh soups, pannini and bruschette.
I had lovely fresh bruschette with mushrooms, topped with rocket, and an appetiser of breadsticks and crispy bread with olives. There weren’t many vegan options on the menu but these were great and the staff were lovely and friendly too.
