The Radiance Restaurant is part of The Spa Resort in Lamai, and is located on the north part of the beach but also accessible from the main road. Although not strictly vegetarian its unique menu is designed around a range of healthy diets, dishes are labelled as vegan, raw, vegetarian, candida diet and dishes for fasters.
It was an evening of torrential rain so we didn’t sit out on the beachfront but we had a lovely meal none-the-less. We ate spicy pineapple curry with tofu, rice and raw vietnamese spring rolls. The latter came with a delicious peanut sauce. This was enough to fill us up, but we couldn’t resist trying the dessert of coconut milk and banana, as well as trying an anti-candida juice, just for the fun of it.
The resort and staff are welcoming and unpretentious and the restaurant’s menu is sure to have something for everyone. Healthy, inventive and filling food, yum!
