Ethos Vegetarian Restaurant, another gem near Khao San Road, tucked in a little back alley, incidentally on the same road as one of the May Kaidee’s places too. The decor is naturalistic and artistic. There are comfy cushions with low tables or chairs and tables. The menu had mostly vegan options and very clearly labelled in green text, with vegetarian options being in red.
I visited for breakfast and managed to ignore all the delicious healthy pancakes and went for the almond and chocolate multi-grain vegan (and gluten-free) pancake with coconut cream. The pancake itself was thick and filling, topped with chocolate sauce and almonds it was incredible, it was very filling, definitely even enough for two to share.
They have a great looking menu for lunch and dinner too with vegan and vegetarian burgers, tempeh, all sorts! This was, sadly, my last day in Bangkok and Thailand so I didn’t have a chance to return but maybe one day in the future I will be so lucky.
