When: 30th March 2018
Where: Asian Corner, Suvarnabhumi Airport, 999 1 Nong Prue, Amphoe Bang Phli, Chang Wat Samut Prakan 10540, Thailand
So I got a little excited when I saw a huge banner in Suvarnabhumi Airport proclaiming ‘Vegetarian Food’, pointing out all the ingredients and looking like there are some good vegan options. It was about 6am in the morning and I was hungry.
I went for some crispy spring rolls, they were quite different from the picture on the banner, they were smaller than expected, especially for 200 bhat, and instead of 6 in the picture, there were 3, cut in half. I opted for a final watermelon shake, I had got rather addicted to these, it was not as sweet and flavoursome as the ones I’d had before. Perhaps the other options were better but I found this to be really disappointing. Eek, I’m not a fan of criticism on my blog, but this experience really let the side down, as well as being expensive. Maybe they were just having a bad morning!

At least the airport itself is nice, comfortable, and has amazing sculptures, such as this ‘Churning of the Milk Ocean’ sculpture, an incredible scene from Hindu mythology; it was so big I couldn’t fit it all in one photo.
