Senso-ji Temple
We found some tasty snacks on the busy stalls leading up to Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa.
Yohei
2 Chome-2-7 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032, Japan

This isobe dango mochi is wrapped in seaweed and tasted delicious.
Asakusa Strawberry Daifuku
1 Chome-31-1 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032, Japan

Described as ārice cake stuffed with strawberry and sweet red bean jamā, these treats were sweet, and lovely, the sweetness of the strawberry and the soft texture of the mochi was delicious. Available at the stall also were various other vegan friendly strawberry oriented snacks.
Tullyās Coffee
1 Chome-19-8 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032, Japan

This chain coffee shop was advertising plant milk lattes with plant based cream on top! Delicious, and unexpected. I have read that the cream is said to be plant based but with an allergen listed as dairy, due to cross contamination.

Sushiro is a chain of restaurants with conveyor belts that deliver sushi to your table. They have a few vegan friendly options; all food is ordered via a tablet situated at the table and there is a handy option to change the menu into English. We had a variety of items, cucumber sushi, fried bean curd, gourd strip sushi and miso. It was really fun ordering in this way, and the dishes were very reasonably priced too.
Vegan Gyoza Yu
3 Chome-11-17 Negishi, Taito City, Tokyo 110-0003, Japan

Vegan Gyoza Yu is located in a back street, a few minutes away from the Uguisudani stop on the JR line. They specialise in vegan gyoza, no surprises there! We went for the selection of all of the gyoza, and it was a riot of colour. 11 colourful gyoza for us to share, all handmade. Shiitake, celery, green pepper, coriander, kimchi, eggplant miso, garlic miso, ginger miso, green onion miso, pickled cabbage and Chinese chives.

They were all tasty, and a great experience. They also sell them frozen too, as well as fresh to eat in the shop. They also have a great drinks menu; I had an iced soya matcha latte and Oliver enjoyed a local craft beer.
