When: 1st July 2018
Where: The Kitchen Cafe, Galway City Museum, Spanish Parade, Galway, H91 CX5P
I was having a lovely reunion with a friend in Galway last weekend and took the opportunity to visit The Kitchen Cafe in Galway City Museum, as we’d heard they have good vegan options. We certainly weren’t disappointed.

Galway City was lovely and lively, celebrating SeaFest; a festival centred on all sorts of maritime activity so the Kitchen Cafe was abuzz with customers yet service was still friendly and attentive. I went for the Vegan Fry (€9.75) and switched the pita bread for treacle bread. It included fresh salad of baby leaves, hummus, a mushroom, tomato, courgette and sweet potato fritters, tofu, tomato relish and includes a coffee or tea, I upgraded to a cappuccino with soya milk.

There are a good few other savoury vegan options on the menu, as well as at least one vegan cake option, unfortunately we had no time for cake, but it did look tasty.
